GALLANT, THÈRÉSE
1929 - 2015
Thérèse Gallant, 86, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday July 14, 2015 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital. Born on May 28, 1929 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Ovila and Alice (Pellerin) Pellerin.
Prior to her retirement, she worked in the catalogue department at Sears. Thérèse was an avid bingo player. She also enjoyed playing cards and tease people.
She is survived by two daughters: Patricia "Patsy" Richard (Denis) of Moncton and Sylvia Girouard (Philippe) of Dieppe; two sons: Paul of Williamstown and Ronald "Ronnie" (Ginette) of Moncton; five grandchildren: Kim, Christopher, Michael, Rachelle and Marc; five great-grandchildren: Gregory, Zachary, Grace, Sara and Grayson; three sisters: Alida Cormier (Aurèle) of Sudbury, ON, Rita Bastarache of Moncton and Yvonne Carr (Wally) of Hamilton, ON; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Amédus “Meddy” (2014); two sisters: Jeannette Pellerin and Doris Babineau; one brother, Paul.
The family would like to thank the staff at Dr. Georges-.L-Dumont for their care and kindness throughout her illness.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 9:30 am until time of departure (10:15). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
