BOURQUE, EUGÉNIE “JENNIE”
1923-2015
It is with great sadness that the family of Eugénie “Jennie” Bourque, 91, of Résidence Bellevue, Dieppe, formerly of Parkton, announce her passing on Thursday July 16, 2015 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on September 12, 1923 in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elise (Cormier) LeBlanc.
Jennie worked at Marvin’s. She was a woman of great faith, loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Golden Age Club. Jennie loved to cook and spend time socialising with friends as well as spending precious time with her loving family. She also loved her special deliveries on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 64 years, Léandre; her only daughter, Josette Boudreau (Paul) of Dieppe; two granddaughters whom she adored: Chantal and Isabelle; several nieces and nephews. She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
She was predeceased by her infant son, Francis-Léandre; four sisters: Eleonore, Philomène, Amanda and Agnès; two brothers: Willie and Francis.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton on Monday July 20, 2015 at 2 pm. Interment will be in Frenette Columbarium, Moncton. In memory of Jennie, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (dialysis) or a mass offering would be appreciated by the family.
