Passed peacefully away after a brief illness in the presence of her loving family on Friday, July 17th, 2015 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Marina Noseworthy, age 80 years. Predeceased by her husband Don. Also predeceased by her parents, Bill and Ella Thistle; brothers, Cyril, Bern and Bruce Thistle; sisters, Shirley Adams and Helen Ivany. Leaving to mourn son, Rick (Frances); daughter, Rena (Rod Hutchings) and her two "best girls in the world" granddaughters: Ashley and Jillian; brothers: Edward (Blanche) and William (Barb); as well as a large circle of family and friends. A special thank you to the staff at Meadow Creek Retirement Centre where she will be missed by all. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, July 18th and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, July 19th and Monday, July 20th. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
