Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, July 16, 2015, Elsa W. Pilgrim of Clarke's Beach, age 94 years. Predeceased by husband: Frederick; parents: Isaac and Elinor Roach; sisters: Susie (Pasco) Squires and Rosalie (Herbert) Russell; brothers: John (Susie) Roach, Edward (Mary) Roach, Frank (Delia and Alma) Roach and Isaac Roach. Leaving to mourn, one son: F. Calvin (Norma), Bay Roberts; five grandchildren: David (Nita), Elizabeth (Jim), Katrina (Trevor), James and Jennifer (Keith); seven great-grandchildren: Matthew, Emily, Brady, Erikson, Ariana, Julia and James; sister-in-law: Josephine Roach, Bay Roberts; special nieces: Judy Porter and Karen Petten; also a number of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, July 20 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Carbonear.
