Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre on Friday, July 17, 2015, James Holland "Jimmy", age 65 years. Predeceased by his father, James, and his mother-in-law, Priscilla Gaulton. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife and best friend of 42 years, Judy (nee Gaulton); his loving daughters of whom he was so proud: Jaime Collins (Jason) and Kelly; his beloved grandchildren whom he adored: Cailey and Ryan Collins; also leaving his mother, Theresa Holland; his siblings: Peggy (Francis), Jeannie, Rita (Randy), Marie (Nick), Paul, Tishie (Marty), Donna (Brian), Libby (John), Bobbie (Denise); his father-in-law, Bill Gaulton Sr.; his brother-in-law, Bill (Brenda); his sister-in-law, Joy (Dave); as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends - including special friend and Millertown buddy, Jamie Earle. Many thanks to Dr. Hurley and the fabulous staff of the PCU, and also many thanks to Sister Monica Hickey for her prayers and lovely chats - you were a blessing. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Tuesday, July 21, and Wednesday, July 22, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Holy Family Parish, Paradise, on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 10:00am, with interment to follow at St. Thomas of Villa Nova Cemetery, Topsail. As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Jimmy's memory may be made to the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit.
