The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, July 18, 2015, of Wallace Callbeck, of Wilmot, aged 86 years. He was a retired electrical engineer from CN Marine/Marine Atlantic after 35 years of service. Born in Tryon, he was the son of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Large) Callbeck. Survived by his sons Donald Callbeck (Cheryl Callaghan), Summerside; Charlie, Kingston, ON; niece Marion MacLeod Johnston, Kingston, ON; and by their family pet Misty. Predeceased by his wife Beulah (MacLeod) Callbeck, on May 3, 2015; sisters Annie Ferguson, Florence Callbeck; and by brothers Earl and Leaman. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. No visiting hours by family request. A private family service will take place. Interment in the Wilmot Valley Cemetery.
