At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, July 18, 2015, of Peter Joseph Gaudet, of 321 Church Street, Tignish, age 77 years. Born on April 7, 1938, he was the son of the late Urban and Catherine (nee LeClair) Gaudet. Beloved husband of the late Mae (nee Bernard) Gaudet. Dear brother to Rita (late Hector) McInnis of Tignish; Irene (late Aubin) Gallant of Tignish; Charles (Eva) Gaudet of Leoville; and Edward (Marion) Gaudet of Prescott, Ontario. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Jeanette Gaudet of Tignish and Stella Gray of Charlottetown. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 2 p.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, Celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery. If so desired, memorials to St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery Fund or to St. Simon and St. Jude Organ Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
