At the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Friday July 17, 2015, after 20 months of pancreatic cancer of Walter “Claude” Hogg of Summerside aged 83 years.
Born in Summerside, May 17, 1932 son of the late Walter and Ethel (Green) Hogg.
Survived by his wife of 60 years Beryl J. (Woodside) Hogg; daughter Pamela (Ken) Hall, Stratford; granddaughters Roxanne Hall (Stephen Wenn), Charlottetown and Melanie Hall, Stratford; his pride and joy great-grandson Luka Hall, Charlottetown, who gave ‘Pas’ private fiddle concerts; great-granddaughters Sally and Taylor Wenn; brothers Lloyd (Eileen), Willard and Hazen (Bridie); and sisters-in-law Olive Champion, Erma Hogg and Erma Hogg Huestis. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers Denton, Ralph and Wendell Hogg, sisters-in-law Ernie and Carol Hogg and brother-in-law Everett Champion.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. No visitation or Funeral by personal request. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Interment in People’s Cemetery Kensington.
