Passed peacefully away with his family by his side, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, on Monday July 20, 2015, at the age of 78 years. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Francis, his three sisters Joan, Shirley and Helen and brother Max. Leaving with fond memories are his children, Shane (Susan), Scott, Susan Tran (Thuy) and special friend Carol Byrne. His cherished grandchildren who he was very proud of Brandon and Ashley Lewis, Mason and Cambelle Tran, survived by his brother Gerald Lewis (Maria). The Lewis family would like to thank the Nurses, Doctors and staff at St. Clare's Hospital. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from noon until time of service. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to take place at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
