MAILLET, OMER
(1952-2015)
SHEDIAC, NB - Omer Maillet 63, of Shediac passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital, Moncton on Sunday, July 19, 2015 after a brief illness. Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Urbain Maillet and Lillian Perry.
Omer will be sadly missed by his mother, Lillian (Perry) Maillet of Richibouctou-Village; one son, Troy Maillet; three step-children, Carrie Stiller, Jason Stiller, Chris Stiller and several grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Anise Maillet of Cocagne; three brothers, Fernand (Susan), Bernand (Rachel), John (Dine) and Guy all of Richibouctou-Village; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Urbain; his wife Jean and two brothers, Claude and Edward.
As per Omer's wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 4:00 pm, St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home (523-4252)
