GREY, HAROLD ARTHUR
Surrounded by his family, Harold Arthur Grey passed away at York Care Centre on Monday, July 20th, 2015 at the age of 92. Born in Fredericton, NB, on November 9th, 1922, he was the husband of the late Margaret (Carr) Grey.
Harold leaves behind his son, Daniel Grey of Fredericton, NB; stepchildren, Gary Jones (Susan Epton) of Acton, NB, Sheree Dickinson (Dennis) of Hanwell, NB, Dawn Cumberland (Rod) of Keswick Ridge, NB and Peter Jones (Jennifer) of Hanwell, NB; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Harold was predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Mary (Finnie) Grey; infant son, Gordon W. Grey and son, Brian Grey; grandson, Dana Jones; and his brothers and sisters.
Harold was a proud veteran who served his country during WWII and a member of The Royal Canadian Legion. After his retirement, he enjoyed travelling with his wife Margaret with whom he made 2 trips across Canada. Harold also enjoyed playing Cribbage and 45’s with his friend, Gil McNutt, and reading westerns. He was an avid Maple Leafs fan.
In keeping with Harold’s wishes there will be no visitation and a private graveside service in Fredericton Rural Cemetery.
