It was with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dear husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle & friend Kenneth Clifford Snelgrove, aged 67 years old. He passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family after a brief but courageous battle with cancer on Monday July 20th, 2015. Predeceased by his mother and father Jessie and John Charles Snelgrove, twin brother Robert Snelgrove, brother Fred Snelgrove, grandparents (Annie and Kenneth Snelgrove, Fred and Suzanne Snelgrove), granddaughter (Emily), large number of uncles and aunts (including a very special Uncle Cliff), mother and father in law (Michael and Bridget Howell), brothers and sisters in laws (Doreen Snelgrove, Albert Howell, Bill Howell, Ruth and Harold Dawe, Catherine and Bill Dwyer, Marie Piercey, Theresa and Bill Tibbo). Leaving to mourn and to cherish forever in our hearts his loving wife Lorraine who stuck by his side through everything, his children Stephen (Danielle), Kendra (Shannan), Christopher, Kim (Brian), Cory (Lisa), Scott (Sacha) and his grandchildren (Sami, Morgan, Paige, Keegan, Brooklynn, Brody, Riley, & Berkeley). Also mourning his loss are his sisters Linda, Barb (George), Paulette (Vandy), Suzanne, a family friend who he considered a sister Marion Howell, and his brother Jim (Wanda), & Uncle Russ (Ethel). Also a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. At Ken's request cremation has already taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave, Thursday (July 23rd) and Friday (July 24th) from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place at the Salvation Army West Corps (Mundy Pond Road) Saturday July 25th 11:00 am followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Columbarium.
