The death occurred peacefully surrounded by family at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O'Leary on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, of Adeline Butler formerly of Tignish, aged 77 years. Wife of Maynard Butler, Tignish. She was born in Tignish on October 19, 1937, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mae (McPhee) Conway. Dear mother to Joey (Corinna), Miminegash; Alyre (Christine), Miminegash; Virginia/Jenny (Jeff) Froese, Saskatoon; Lloyd (Natalia), Saskatoon; John (puppy Dupont), Harper Road; Jonas (Jen Lindsay), Saskatoon; Monica McCallum, Tignish; Bridgette, (Doug Parker), Halifax. Loving grandmother and great-grandmother to 24 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers and sisters Teresa (late Earl) O'Rourke, Tignish; Elsie (Frank) Murnaghan, Orleans, Ont.; Timothy (Pauline) Conway, Liverpool, N.S.; Frances (Ivan) Chaisson, Peterville; Helen (Nelson) Perry, St. Edward; Lucy (Wendell) Cahill, Kildare; Sylvia (Tom) Sweet, Trenton, Ont.; Evelyn Malone, Bradford, Ont.; Phyllis Conway, Summerside; Rev. Father Greg Conway, Miscouche; Christina (Emile) Gaudet, Kildare; and a brother-in-law Roger Connors. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Freda (late Alyre) Wedge, late Jean (Everett) Wedge, Harry (late Ruby), Calvin (Ellie), Freddy (Agnes), Leo, late Maurice (Eileen), Shirley (late Ralph), and Edward (Agnes). She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mae, sister Mary Gertrude, brother Gerald in infancy, sisters Gertrude Connors, Mary and brother-in-law Patrick Rochford, and granddaughter Natasha Butler. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road, for visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 9-10 a.m. Funeral will be held Friday July 24, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations to Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O'Leary, or Transportation West or Dementia Society would be greatly appreciated.
