The death occurred at the QE II in Halifax on Tuesday July 21, 2015 of Miriam M. Hancock (nee MacLeod) of Belle River and Hopefield.
Born October 31, 1937 she was the wife of the late Cleveland Hancock and daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Ross) MacLeod.
Dear mother of Barry (Kim), and daughter-in-law Debbie (Willard) and son-in-law Robert Panting (Norma). Loving grandmother of seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
She is the sister of Daniel (Mary) MacLeod. She is also fondly remembered by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Lynn MacLeod, Howard (Fran), Winston (Mary), Elizabeth, Sadie (Ray), Amy, June (Wayne), Leonard and Gladys and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter Dianne Panting and son Roger Hancock and her sister Marion and brother Marvin, sister-in-laws Joan, Doris, brother-in-laws Johnny, Ivan, George, Cecil and Jimmy.
Resting at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday July 25, 2015 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in St John's Presbyterian Cemetery, Belfast.
Memorials may be made to the Belfast Cemetery, Wood Islands Cemetery Funds or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
