It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dear Aunt, friend and Retired Educator from the College of the North Atlantic, formerly of Bell Island. Predeceased by her parents, Matthew and Catherine Power; brothers, Patrick; Michael; Riv; Leo; Gordon and Kevin; sisters, Lillian Doherty, Loretta Christopher, Bridget Brazil and Doravel Skinner. Leaving to mourn are her numerous Nieces, Nephews and her friends at Kenny Pond Retirement Living, where she resided. Visitation will take place at Pendergast's Funeral Home, Bell Island on Monday, July 27, from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 2.00pm from St. Michael's Church, Bell Island. Interment to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery. Flowers greatly accepted or a donation may be made to a charity of one's choice in her memory.
