MORTON, DORIS (CAIL)
(1917-2015)
WEST BRANCH, NB - Doris Morton 98, of West Branch passed away peacefully at Foyer P'tit Chenous, Ste Anne de Kent on Friday, July 24, 2015 . Born in Pine Ridge, NB she was the daughter of the late Joseph Cail and late Bertha (Jackson) Cail.
She attended St. John's United Church in West Branch and was a member of the Eastern Star, U.C.W. and I.O.D.E.
Doris will be sadly missed by her daughter, Winnifred Bates (Bert) of Fredericton; sons, Vincent Morton (Adrienne) of Massilon, Ohio, Gregory Morton (Elaine) of Fredericton, Gerald Morton (Jean) of Riverview; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by her husband, Earl Morton; three sisters, Adelia Little, Blanche Beck, Bertha Girvan; four brothers, Lewis, Mort, Jasper and Joseph.
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 2:00 pm, St. John's United Church in West Branch.
Donations in Doris's memory may be made to St. John's United Church Cemetery Fund.
