PORTER, LEE THOMAS
Lee T. Porter, 29, was granted his angel wings on July 24, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. Lee was born in Woodstock, NB in 1985.
Lee is survived by his parents, Shelley Grant-Kossick (Randy), Calgary, AB and Dean Porter (Shelley), Fox Creek, AB; his sister, Jennifer Sharp (Anthony), Fort McMurray, AB; nieces, Maddison Sharp and Mallory Sharp; his paternal grandparents, Tom and Thora Porter, Riceville, NB; his maternal grandmother, Brenda Grant (Don), Harvey, NB; his great grandmother, Bernice Wright, Fredericton, NB; aunts Kathy Troy (Brian), Fort McMurray, AB and Heather Clark (Billy), Woodstock, NB; uncles, Cary Grant, Canterbury, NB, Danny Porter, Fort McMurray, AB and Malcolm Porter (Janet), Oak Mountain, NB; several special cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles; his best friends, Matt Appleby, Fredericton, NB and Adri Plamondon, Fort McMurray, AB.
Lee was predeceased by his grandfather, Lawrence Grant and an uncle, Private Perry Porter.
Lee leaves behind many wonderful caregivers who provided love and support that enhanced his quality of life. Lee’s love extends to the doctors and nurses of the Northern Lights Hospital, Fort McMurray, AB and Grey Nuns Hospital, Edmonton, AB.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 1 to 3 pm, followed by the funeral service at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Luke and Bonnie Weaver officiating. Interment at Hillman Cemetery, Ritchie. NB.
