Greene, Howard John
January 10, 1923 – July 21st. 2015
Passed away peacefully at the Golden Years Estate on Tuesday, July 21st. 2015 at the age of 92 years young. Predeceased by his loving wife Grace Josephine (Woods) July 1993. Sons: Brian James, July 2008 and Barry Christopher, December 2014. Leaving with strong heartfelt loving memories Daughters: Cavelle Kingston, ON and Ann Marie St. John’s, NL Sons: Howard Jr. Gander, NL, Tim (Patricia) Corunna, ON., John (Bev) Gander, NL and Gerard Bancroft, ON.
Grandchildren: Sarah, Dylan, Vicki, Ryan and Michael. Great Grandchildren: Lane, Nick, Connor and Molly. Family best friend Linda Quinlan. Many nieces and nephews and Special Niece Loretta (Lo Lo) and a large circle friends. Rested Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander. Funeral service was held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church Gander, NL on Tuesday, July 28th, 2015.
Interment All Saints Cemetery Gander, NL. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Howard’s memory may be made to the Gander SPCA. Best Dad (Poppy) in the whole wide world. We will miss you dearly. XOX Poppy was a man of integrity who served his family and his community. He was a good man and will be missed by his family, friends and relations and all who knew him.
