Passed away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital surrounded by his loving family, after a lengthy illness. Dennis Hickey, aged 70 years of Outer Cove (Electrical Contractor). Predeceased by his parents Denis and Nora Hickey; brother Francis; nephew Daniel; parents-in-law Daniel and Evelyn Doran; brothers-in-law: James, Daniel and Patrick Doran. Leaving to mourn his wife of 48 years Ruby (nee Doran); daughter Brenda Dunphy (Robert); son Wayne; grandchildren: Mackenzie and Brianna Dunphy, Cheryl Cook (Jeff); great granddaughter Callie Cook; brothers-in-law: John Doran (Ursula) and Richard Doran (Janet); sisters-in-law: Lucy Conway (Fred), Mary Pauba (John, deceased), Mary (Sis) Doran, Elizabeth Barnes (Richard) and Millie Martin. Special friends Mary and Brian McDonald, as well many other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday 4 pm - 9 pm and Wednesday 2 pm - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday July 30, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Outer Cove. Interment to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Outer Cove Cemetery.
