Passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 26, 2015. Millie Margaret Jones aged 83 years. Predeceased by her husband Alexander (Sandy) Jones; brother: Leslie (Loretta) Cake and sister: Mimmie (Bernard) Martin. Leaving to mourn her six children: Marjorie (Reginald) Kennedy, St. John's; Keith (Sharon), Mt. Pearl; Lloyd (Frances), Mt. Pearl; Barry (Trudy), Paradise; Val (Robert) Barry; Mt. Pearl and Charmaine (Robert) Wight: Grand Falls - Windsor; 14 grandchildren: Dean, Jason, Craig, Steven, Bradley, Bryan, Daryl, Colin, David, Andrew, Michael, Christopher, Sara, and Jordan; 10 Great Grandchildren: Zachery, Nicholas, Brady, Julia, Meghan, Riley, Jesse, Jackson, Callie, and Brock; Brothers: Gordon (late Lilian) Cake, Frank Cake (Joan), David Cake (Carolann);and sisters: Dorothy (Harry) White and Vi (late Sterling) Ivany, also a large number of relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave. Mt. Pearl on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00- 9:00pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 11:00 am from The Salvation Army St. John's West Corps, Mundy Pond Road. Interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Millie's memory to the St. John's West Band.
