It is with sincere sadness that the family of Glynn Brymer Cross announces his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, on Monday, July 27th, 2015, at the age of 78 years. Glynn will be forever remembered as the cornerstone and provider for his family, and as a man who loved his wife and children more than life itself. Glynn will be missed by his wife of 60 years, Viola nee Peddle, and his children: Glen Jr. (Jackie), Catherine (Kevin), Laura (Bill), Greta (Ross), Gloria (Wallace), Paul (Cory), Brymer (Corrie), Perry (Lorinda), Hilda (Harvey), and Frazer (Jennifer), his grandchildren: April, Paula, Dwayne, Amanda, Elizabeth, Heather, Glen III, Paul Jr., Alicia, Emily, and Olivia, and great-grandchildren: Colton, Laci, Paige, Chelsea, Jaxon, Megan, Kai, and Jaelynn. Glynn was pre-deceased by his parents, James and Hilda Cross, and his sisters Winnie and Clytie. Glynn will also be missed by a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. Special gratitude is also extended to his nephew Leonard Owens who offered great assistance during the final days of Glynn's life. The family will be receiving relatives and friends from Parson's Funeral Home and Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Tuesday, July 28th, 2015, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and again on Wednesday, July 29th, 2015 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 30th, 2015, at 2 pm, at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Deer Lake, NL, with Pastor Peter Grimes officiating, with the burial to follow at the Interdenominational Cemetery, Deer Lake, NL.
