James (Jim) Terry

The family of the late James (Jim) Terry extend sincere thanks and appreciation for the overwhelming demonstration of care and concern shown to us during the recent and sudden passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather.

To everyone who called or visited and sent food, cards, donations and flowers, please know that your thoughtfulness is heartfelt.

While is is impossible to thank everyone individually, we would especially like to acknowledge HIS Fire and Rescue, the paramedics and ER Staff at WMRH for there immediate assistance; and Fillatre’s Funeral Home for the professional and caring service provided at this difficult time.

To Laverne and Joseph Byrne, Rod Terry, Geraldine Terry and Lindsey Bennett for always being there for us; we feel most fortunate and appreciative to have had Father Edward Terry officiate the wake and funeral services, and are very grateful for the assistance of Brian, Christopher and Dominic Terry at our home and during both farewell services. We were deeply touched by the beautiful “Ashokan Farewell” violin/fiddle performance to end the wake by Jacob Terry, which we know Jim would have loved. Sincere thanks to All Hallows Church and to all who assisted in any way with the funeral Mass. Your support meant more than words can say.

Please know that while we were shocked and deeply saddend by Jim’s sudden passing, every act of kindness by our large circle of family, friends and colleagues has been a tremendous support and will never be forgotten.

Sincerely, wife Ida, children Emma, Darlene (Harold), Rick, Faye (Leonard), Shirley, Derek and Granddaughter Jacey.
