R. Grant Mollison

With sadness and fond memories, the family announces the death of R. Grant Mollison, at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, aged 89 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Robert “Bob” and Ellen (McLure) Mollison. Grant was a Veteran of the Second World War and served with the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion. He is survived by his sister, Ellen Law, Ottawa; sisters-in-law Sally Mollison, Charlottetown; and Evelyn Ramsay, Tyne Valley; brother-in-law James Stephenson, Angie, Louisiana; and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Mildred (Ramsay) Mollison; brothers Keith, Milton and Alex; and by sisters Marjorie Wylie and Mary Stephenson. Grant will be remembered by his family and friends for his love of life and laughter and his service to the community. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in the Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery. No visiting hours by personal request. Memorial donations to the Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund or the Summerset Manor Equipment Fund would be appreciated. www.moase.ca
