Dianne MacCulloch

Dianne Virginia MacCulloch, 60 of Greenwood, Pictou County passed away July 31st, 2015 at the QEll Halifax Infirmary with her family by her side after a recent illness.
Born in New Glasgow, August 7th, 1954, she was the daughter of the late James and Olive (Meikle) Fraser.
Dianne was employed with C. M. Carpenter Ltd. for 18 years before choosing to stay home and raise her children, and Convergy's for a number of years later once they were older.
She fought a long, hard battle against cancer for 26 years, and was a true inspiration to many.
Dianne was past president and member of the Thorburn Fire Dept. Ladies Auxillary for over 30 years.
She enjoyed bowling in both the "Tuesday Morning Ladies", and "Housewives" leagues. She spent her spare time baking, gardening, quilting, but her pride and joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by husband Terry, son Justin (Annette), daughter Jyl, grandchildren Devon, Sophia & Dawson, brothers Hugh (Carol) Fraser, Edward (Janet) Fraser, and sister Eleanor (Walter) Kirkwood, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by both her parents.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 pm, Tuesday August 4th at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. A memorial service will be held 11am Wednesday August 5th at the Union Presbyterian Church Thorburn with Rev. Jeff Lackie presiding. Burial will take place at the Blue Mtn. Cemetery, with reception to follow at the Thorburn Fire Hall. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a fire department of ones choice.
