She was into scrapbooking long before it became the “IN” thing to do, filling scrapbooks with newspaper articles, poems and nostalgic pictures of the town, county, province and country.
She loved berry picking(especially wild strawberries), gardening and animals especially dogs. She loved her cottage and going for beach walks and collecting whatever treasure s she happened to find there.
Reading was her most enjoyable pastime. She loved crossword puzzles, learning about new words and poetry.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, kind, intelligent, caring, loving, courageous, witty, fun loving, patient, humble and so much more. The glue that held us together.
She put her trust in the Lord, scripture and prayer were a part of everyday for her. Her family were her great joy, particularly enjoying her family gatherings when she was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
