CROWELL, Ernest Leslie, 76, Clark’s Harbour, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015 at the Roseway Hospital, Shelburne. Born October 15, 1938, he was the son of the late Wallace and Pearl (Langthorne) Crowell. Ernest was an avid outdoorsman; he loved hunting, any type of fishing and enjoyed shooting at the gun range. He was a family man and greatly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his sons, Ernest (Marlene) Crowell Jr., Corey (Stephanie) Hunt; daughters, Donna (Ralph) Newell, Leona (Stephen) Goreham, Cynthia (David) Ellis; grandchildren, Michael, Mark, Brittany, Stephen, Jillian, David, Jennifer, Jaden; great grandchildren, Jesse, Miley, Shaun, Brooke, Chloe, and Drake. Besides his parents was predeceased by his wife, Hazel (Hunt); step-daughter, Belinda; brothers, Donnie, Jackie, Beldon, Herbert, Vernon, George; sisters, Betty, Sarah, Hilda, Margaret; and step-grandson, Cole. The funeral service was held on Monday, August 3, at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, with Pastors Shaun Hatfield and Jeff Peters. Interment to follow in the Riverdale Cemetery, River Head. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
