FLEMMING, N. ARTHUR HARRY
Arthur Flemming of Southampton, NB passed away August 3, 2015 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Arthur was born in 1928 at Devon, NB, a son of the late William and Ruby Mae (Morehouse) Flemming.
Arthur worked for NB Power on the Survey Crew for more than 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice (Dore) Flemming; his children, Allen Flemming (late Ethel), Brenda Flemming, Dale Flemming (Paula), Cathy Boone (Duane), Mary Flemming and Robert Flemming; grandchildren, Sara McCarthy (Ian), Karen Flemming, Matthew Flemming, Chelsey Flemming (Andrew), Dexter Flemming (Alisha), Jonathan Flemming (Tsema), Mark Flemming, Michelle Flemming and Jennifer Flemming; great-grandchildren, Kale, Shane, Caleb and Grayson; a sister, Leona Laskey; a sister-in-law, Shirley Flemming; a brother-in-law, Edison Ellegood; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law in Bernice’s family; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Murray, Neil and infant Paul Flemming; a sister, Joyce Ellegood; a daughter-in-law, Ethel Flemming; a sister-in-law, Nioma Flemming and a brother-in-law, Oscar Laskey.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Thursday afternoon, August 6, 2015 from 12:30 to 2 pm. Funeral service will then be held at 2 pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ryan Farrell officiating. Interment at the Lenentine Cemetery.
