It is with great sadness that the family of Walter Williams, Jr. announces his sudden passing at his home in Hawkes Bay on Sunday, August. 2, 2015 at the age of 59 years. He leaves to mourn his brother Frederick (Freddie) Williams of Bay Roberts; aunt Rowena Toope of St. Anthony; uncle Jake Toope of Anchor Point; nieces, nephews, cousins, and his loving and caring foster parents Jose and Dennis Penney. He was predeceased by his parents Walter Williams Sr. and Alma (Nee Toope) and sister Joan. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of his home care workers over the past years for their love and kindness toward "Wally". The family accepted visitors at the Pentecostal Church in Hawkes Bay on Monday evening and Tuesday with open door. The funeral service was held at the church on Wednesday, Aug. 5 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Trevor Deering officiating. Burial took place at the Anglican Cemetery in Black Duck Cove.
