It is with saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of (Alfred) George Pippy, age 73, at his residence in Burgoyne's Cove on August 4, 2015. Predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Sarah Pippy; brothers, Augustus and Joseph; sisters, Alfreda, Mahala, Elsie and Rita. Left with many fond and loving memories are his wife, Charlotte; children, Judy (Joe), Donna (Dean), Scot (Lynda) and Charlene (Harvey); grandchildren, Trista, Jody, Brittany, Tiffany, Gregory, DJ and Hannah; great grandchildren, Makayla, Leighton and Zachary; sisters, Jessie, Eliza, Ella, Lucy, Rachel (Morris) and Rubena (Harvey) and a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A cremation took place and visitation took place from the St. Mary's Anglican Church, Burgoyne's Cove. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. George Spencer, took place on Friday, August 7, 2015.
