Margaret McNab of Moose Jaw passed away on August 11, 2015, at the age of 99. Margaret is predeceased by her parents; husband Victor; sons Jim and Ron; and daughter Irene. Margaret was the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. A. W. Thompson, born in 1916 on the farm in the Tuxford district. Marg went to Coyote Run, a one room schoolhouse, until completing grade 8. Marg was the 6th oldest sibling of 8 girls and 7 boys. She married Victor in 1935 and had 3 children: James, Irene and Ron. Marg's hobbies were curling, bowling, cards, particularly crib, and gardening. She was a member of the Stony Beach United Church Women, who put on fowl suppers and dances. Marg would always look to help those in need and worked on the farm until 1977-78 when Victor retired. Marg is survived by her daughters-in-law Shirley, and Joan, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; her brother Merlin, as well as many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at the McGuire Centre and Pioneer Lodge. The Funeral Service will be held at W.J. Jones & Son Chapel on Friday August 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Della Ferguson will officiate. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday August 13, 2015 from 7 pm to 8 pm at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Marg's request were that donations could be made to the Cancer Society, Arthritis Society or the Moose Jaw Health Foundation.
