We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Ruth Bidart on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, at the Palliative Care Unit of the C.B. Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in South Bar, she was the daughter of the late AJ & Eliza (Meech) MacLeod.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Maurice; sons Geoffrey (Brenda) and Stephen, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by daughters, Bonnie and Susan and son, Michael.
Ruth was in her element surrounded by her fellow quilters at C.B. Crafters up until as recently as a month ago.
There will be a funeral service for Ruth on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 12:30 p.m. at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel and friends can gather following the service in the chapel.
