It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Emma Victoria (nee Charters) Rankine on August 13th, 2015 at York Care Centre. She was predeceased by her son, Richard and her husband, Vernon.
Emma is survived by her daughter, Susan (Dennis) and son, James (Young-ah); 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and her sister, Thelma Henry. She will be sadly missed.
Friends will be received at McAdam's Funeral Home (160 York Street, Fredericton) on Monday, August 17th between 7 and 9 pm. A memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Tuesday, August 18th, 2015 at 10 am. The Rev. Canon Bruce McKenna will officiate. Interment will be in the St. Mary the Virgin Cemetery in New Maryland. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Emma may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
