Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on August 13th surrounded by her devoted family, age 87. Predeceased by her husband Joseph (1976); daughter Maureen Winsor (2005); parents Richard and Mary Ann Scott, sister Sheila Hynes; brothers Patrick and William Scott. Leaving to mourn her children Brenda Conway (Gary Burden), Paul Conway (Suzie), Carmel Conway (Bill Hynd), Dianne Anderson (Tim), Gerry Conway (Melanie), Joanne Trenholm (Allan); brother Ronald Scott; sister Tina Rose (Jim); son-in-law Bert Winsor. Catherine will be missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Grandchildren Scott Winsor (Ann), Leanne Babstock (Greg), Adam Winsor (Erin), Christopher Fox (Andrea), Allison Fox (Ian), Laura Fox, Dennis and Michael Conway, Alex and Robbie Hynd, Ken and Ian Anderson, Hilary and Joseph Trenholm, Nicholas Conway. Great-Grandchildren Ava and Lola Winsor, Lloyd Conway, Maya and Luke Fox, Nora Andrews and Grant Winsor. Catherine also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. A special thank you to the staff of 3 north St. Patrick's Mercy Home, Father John Maddigan and pastoral staff. Our mother died as she lived, with grace and dignity. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 9:30 am from St. Pius X Church, following Mass a reception will be held in the church hall. Inurnment will follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Patrick's Mercy Home Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
