It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edna May Young announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Friday, August 14, 2015 at the age of 82 years. She leaves to mourn with found and loving memories her son Stephen; sister Louise and her family Sherry, Noreen, Kayla, and Lindsey, brother-in-law Norman (Geraldine); sisters-in-law: Ada and Jean (David) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Clyde (2013), parents Joseph and Clemency. In keeping with Edna's wishes cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, August 17, 2015 between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place from First United Church, Park Street on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 2 p.m. officiated by Reverend Clayton Parsons. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. No flowers by request, donations may be made in Edna's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
