The family of the late Harold(Bud)Magee wish to express their appreciation to family and friends who offered their love and support during this difficult time. We would like to thank all those who traveled many miles to the Commital Service at Union Cemetery in Burnt Church, NB.,for the cards, phone calls,food and donations. Many thanks to Corrine(PeeWee) who continues to help and Claude from Bayshore whose kindness will not be forgotten. Dad was a hard worker and had his first job as a paperboy in St.John at the age of 12. He worked at the Dry Dock and Ironworks. He came to Moncton to work at CNR in 1946 as a Call boy and met our mother, Linda MacKnight in 1947. Later he became a dispatcher then trained for a "Firemen" on the old steam engines. He went on to become 2nd Engineer in 1975 and drove passenger trains from Moncton to Campbellton and Halifax. After 46 yrs.,he retired from CNR on Jan.13,1990. He was a member of Humphrey Memorial United Church,Braesiders Sr.'s Club, and The Buckskinners Club. He leaves his wife Linda of 63 yrs, along with 5 children,2 grandaugthers ,6 grandsons and his brother Michael. He was predeceased by his youngest brother Jimmy.
