The death of Glen Paul Blackmore, husband of Karen (Wright) Blackmore of Moncton NB, formerly of Newcastle, NB, occurred at Moncton Hospital on Saturday, August 15th, 2015 at the age of 59. Born in Newcastle, NB, Glen was the son of the late Percy and Pearl (Allison) Blackmore.
Glen was retired from National Energy as a parts and service writer. He was also a certified web designer & programmer. Glen was an avid musician and guitar player.
Glen is survived by one daughter: Melissa Dawn Ross (Chris) of Maugerville, NB, one son: Jamie Blackmore (Laura) of Miramichi, NB; two sisters: Donna Frenette (Paul) of Chaplin Island Road, NB Vivian Duffy (Richard) of South Esk, NB; one brother: Stephen (Margaret Rose) of Boom Road, NB; two grandchildren: Cambrie and Casen Ross and several nieces and nephews.
Glen is predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers: Percy (Butch) and Reid.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 18th, 2015 from 2 to 4 PM & 7 to 9 PM and then on Wednesday, August 19th from 1PM until the time of the Funeral Service which will be held at the Grangeville Baptist Church at 3 PM with Pastor Paul Legere officiating. Burial will take place in the Grangeville Baptist Cemetery, Grangeville Road.
In Glen’s memory, donations may be made to the Grangeville Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
