Joseph 'Jack' Morin

Morin, Joseph (Jack) of Moncton passed away at home on August 13, 2015 at the age of 76.
Born in Drummond, NB, on June 11, 1939, he was the son of the late George and Elise Morin.
Joseph is survived by his daughters; Michele (Matthew) Price, Jacqueline (Gary) Nowlan, Bridget Morin-Trenholm, brothers; Louis (Holly) Morin, Joe (Brenda) Morin, Raymond Morin and his sister Edwena Johnston.
He is also survived by his grandchildren; Rachelle, Kaleigh, Savanah, Brandyn, Emily, great grandchildren; Emma, Ayden, Avery, Caedyn, Everley, Adrianna and his many nieces and nephews.
Aside from his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his sisters; Odette, Mary-Mae, Georgette and his brother Maurice.
Though he lived in Moncton, Joseph never forgot his roots in Grand Falls and Napadoggan. At the age of 13 he began his career with CN Railway where he remained for the next 42 years, retiring in 1994. Not a man to be idle he continued working at various labor jobs within the community. Aside from being a hard worker, he was a man who had a passion for life and lived his the way he wanted; surrounded by his loved ones and friends from all walks of life. He was loved by more people than we could ever know.
He was a jack of all trades; a mechanic, card player, bowler, dancer, joker, traveler and so much more.
A funeral service will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 4:00 pm followed by a reception that will be open to friends and family until 7:00pm. We encourage people to join us and share stories, laughter and tears. We look forward to it. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in Joseph’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
