It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kimberly Anne Knight announce her passing on Monday, August 3, 2015 at the Grey Nuns Hospital, Palliative Care Unit in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 44 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her mother Ferne Knight; brother Marc Knight (Joy Rumbolt); nephew Keith Crotty; grandmother Barbara Neil; step-grandfather Llewelyn Neil; aunts and uncles: Faye Battiste-Otto, Joseph (Zella) Battiste, Lorna (Ray) Sharpe, Clayton Stratton and Glenda Knight; cousins: Aaron, Carole, Kathyrn, Kristopher, Sheldon, John, Laurie and Dawn; as well as the Neil family, and a very large circle of very special friends especially Charmaine, Shannon, Sandy, Trudy and Peggy. She was predeceased by her father John Knight, grandfather Joseph Battiste, grandparents Ron and Lily Knight, uncles David Knight and Jack Otto, cousins Shelly Lynn and Blair Stratton. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Sunday, August 23 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 24 at 2 p.m. from Fillatre's Funeral Home Chapel, St. Mark's Avenue with Major Betty Ann Pike officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
