Passed peacefully away at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, NL, on Sunday, August 9th, 2015, MILLICENT IRENE HODDER of Creston South, NL, in her 61st year. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Charlie of 39 years; daughters Wendy (Blaine) Taylor of Lewins Cove, and Wanda Hodder (Andrew Campbell) of Lloyd Minister, AB; 3 grandchildren, Gavin Hodder, Lilly Beaupre & Brooke Taylor; Brothers Allan (Joyce) Hooper of Grand Bank, Harvey (Maxine) Hooper of Rock Harbour, Clyde (Linda) Hooper of Rock Harbour, Charles Hooper of Rock Harbour, Walter Hooper of Creston South, and George (Judy) Hooper of Rock Harbour; sister Eliza Ann (Gus) Brown of Rock Harbour; special friends Beatrice (Sam) Bungay of Creston South, Brenda (Leonard) White of Creston South, and Bernard, Ivy & Mrs. Card of Badger; special neighbor Rosemary Cheeseman of Creston South; and a large circle of relatives and friends.

Millicent is predeceased by her parents Ernest & Lucy Hooper and parents-in-law Hubert & Beatrice Hodder.

Rev. Gloria Wendover conducted the Funeral Service at St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Creston South, on Thursday, August 13th, 2015; at 2:00 pm. Inurnment followed at the Anglican Church Cemetery in Creston South, NL.

Donations in Millicent’s memory may be made to the St. Michael’s Anglican Church Cemetery Fund, Creston South, NL.

Urn bearer was her Brother, Walter Hooper.
