BURNS, Marlene Joy (Dykens), 61, Digby, passed away at home with family by her side on August 17, 2015. Born on May 26, 1954 she was a daughter of the late Mildred and George Dykens. Surviving are daughters, Georgina Mahar (Jason Ring), Deepbrook; Anges (Sandy) Forrest, Truro; Fern Vincent (Andy Leeman), Londonery; Irene (Kerwin) Cail, Truro; sisters Karen Dykens, Debert; Fern (Doug) Lattie, Truro; brothers; Gerald (Linda), Debert and Owen (Audrey) Debert; 14 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Marlene was predeceased by common-law partner Allen Bourque; sister Ellen and brother Jimmy. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
