CORMIER, ANITA
1926 - 2015
Anita Cormier (Lirette), passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on August 19, 2015, at the age of 88. Born in Moncton, NB, on December 22, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Bave Lirette and Zelica LeBlanc.
Anita is survived by her daughter Linda Melanson (Louis) and their children Michel and Marc, Sons; Robert “Bob” (Norma) LeBlanc, their daughter Stephanie and son Mike, William “Bill” (Wanda) Mintern and their children Matthew and Melissa. Anita is also survived by her brother Clifford (Andrea) Lirette and Sister Gertrude (late Robert) Duffy as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Anita was predeceased by her husband Henri Cormier in 2003, siblings Walter, Gerald and Benjamin Lirette, Eva Pepin and Mildred LeBlanc.
A funeral mass to celebrate Anita’s life will be held in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 2:00 pm with visitation held from 1:00 pm until time of service.
