Passed away peacefully at the Dr. L.A. Miller Center at the age of 79 years. Predeceased by her husband Thomas; sons: Barry and Derek; grandson Stephen; son-in-law Patrick Daley. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories Bruce Squires her long-time companion; children: Yvonne (Kevin), Dorothy, Michael (Joan), Lois (Steven), Paulette (Ken), and Billy (Christine); daughter-in-law Elsie Purcell; grandchildren: Lisa, Jessica, Marissa, Amy, Jason, Leah, Spencer, Stephanie, Nicholas, Jacob, and Robin; great-grandchildren: Morgan, Taylor, Katie, Kyle, William, Shelby, Brody, and Tara; special friends: Coleen (Bob), Gussie (Gerry), Greta (Gil), Phil (Huey), Levi, Stephanie and her daughters Danielle and Holly. Special thanks to Dr. Rouke and Dr. Murthy and the wonderful staff at the Palliative Care Unit, and a special thank you to Derick Tucker who brightened mom's night just by walking in the door. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday August 25, 2014 from 10 am - 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Barrett's Funeral Chapel 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday August 26, 2015 at 10:30 am, interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery, St. Thomas Line.
