Peacefully at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge, Belfast, on Thursday, August 20, 2015 the passing of Blanche C. MacKay (nee Holmes), age 87, of Belfast, formerly of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, wife of the late Bruce MacKay. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Born August 25, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Catherine (MacLean) Holmes. Blanche was predeceased by a brother Gordon Emery.
Funeral service to be held from the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, August 23 at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in the Belfast Memorial Cemetery. Visiting will be from 1 p.m. until service time.
