NEW GLASGOW – David Kenneth “Dave” Cosh, 60, New Glasgow, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by his family.
Born in Trenton, he was a son of the late Donald Buster and June Marie (Feltmate) Cosh.
Prior to retirement in November 2014, Dave was employed with Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow for 30 years. He was a member of CUPE Local 2330, Employment Insurance Boards of Referees, and the New Glasgow District Labour Council. Dave enjoyed all types of music and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Peggy Ann (Paris); daughter, Jada Cosh (Adam Clyke); grandchildren, Lindsay and Jackson; sisters, Colleen MacNeil, Juanita (Glen) Hughes, Cathy (James) MacMillan, Shelley (Blaise) Hartling, Kimberly (Michael) Anderson; brothers, Donald (Jenny), Dan (Sandra), Wade (Sylvia), Robert (Isabel), Timothy, Chris (Amanda); aunt, Lois (Irving) Kitson; brother-in-law, Edward Perry; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by sister, Sharon Perry; brother, Parker; brother-in-law, Gary Mac Neil.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Lorne Street Cemetery, New Glasgow.
