Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, August 21, 2015, Mr. James H. Mercer of Bay Roberts, aged 90 years. Predeceased by parents James and Eva Mercer; sister Mary (Harry) Holmes; brothers: Wilfred, Herbert, Roy (Susie) and Warren (Lorraine). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his devoted wife of 57 years Susie Mercer; son Keith and daughter-in-law Rona; grandsons Scott Mercer (his special friend Nichole Smith) and Kyle Mercer; special niece Audrey Mercer; sister-in-law Florence and a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts with visitation on Sunday, August 23, 2015 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, Monday, 10-12 Noon, 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, Tuesday, 10-12 Noon. Funeral Service to take place on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 2 PM from St. Mark's Anglican Church, Sheartown with interment at St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery, Sheartown.
