It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sherry Annabelle Shea, aged 58 years, on Saturday, August 22, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Sherry is predeceased by her father Walter Picco; father and mother-in-law Ambrose and Alice Shea and special friend Dale Gardiner. Sherry leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband of 39 wonderful years, Bernie Shea; some of her most beautiful memories, her son Jeremy (Christine) and daughter Melissa (Patrick); along with five of the most special grandchildren, Madison, Mason, Mackenzie, Samual and Abigail. Sherry also leaves her loving mother, Ethel Picco; two special sisters Erica Thomas and Candace Picco; three brothers Henry (Elaine), Eddy (Opah) and Roger (Kasey); special friends Barb (Leroy), Jean (Ken) and Julie (Brian) as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including the large extended Shea family. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Team at the L.A. Miller Centre for the care and attention Sherry received during her time there. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation on Monday from 7-9 pm and on Tuesday from 10 am - 9 pm. Funeral Service will take place at 11 am on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from All Saints Anglican Church in Pouch Cove with interment to follow at the All Saints Anglican Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Sherry's memory may be made to the All Saints Anglican Church in Pouch Cove.
