It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Andrews announce her passing on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility at the age of 89 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her six children: Max (Virtue), Woodstock, Ont., Harriet (Rich) Park, Steady Brook, Joan (Peter) Grimes, Deer Lake, Jean (Ken) Poole, Kitchener, Ont., Robert (Denise), Breslau, Ont. and Gary (Roxanne), St. John's; 12 grandchildren: Edward (Iolanda) Andrews, Gordon (Nathlie) Andrews, Jason (Jennifer) McGinn, Nancy (Patrick) Casey, Andrew (Victoria) Grimes, Justin Grimes, Sarah Poole, Jennifer Poole (Preston), Jennifer (Cory) Price, Patricia Andrews, Katie Andrews and Matthew Andrews; six great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Harry Andrews, parents Robert and Harriet Gregory, brothers George and Frank Gregory. Friends visited Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Sunday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 24 at 11 a.m. from Fillatre's Funeral Chapel, St. Mark's Avenue with Pastor Peter Grimes officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility.
