COLLINS, Delmar Lyman – 74, Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro, formerly of Hillcrest Manor and Beaver Brook, passed away on Friday afternoon, August 21, 2015, at Cedarstone Enhanced Care. Born April 13, 1941, in Truro, he was a son of Elizabeth Jean (Dearmond) Collins, Beaver Brook, and the late Elmer Rufus Collins. Along with his mother, he leaves to mourn his brothers, Walter (Elizabeth Rose) Collins, Merle (Carol) Collins; sister, Laverne (Hank) McGann, all of Beaver Brook; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Delmar’s family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8 p.m., today, Saturday, August 22, 2015, and funeral service 7 p.m., Sunday, August 23, 2015, Reverend Ian Harrison officiating.
