CHISHOLM, JOSEPH
It is with great sadness we announce the death of Joseph Chisholm, son of Kate (Ferguson) and John Chisholm of Sydney, NS. He passed away peacefully at his home with his wife by his side in Riverview, NB on Thursday, August 20th, 2015 at 81 years.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Claire; their children Joseph (Jennifer), Richard (Cindy), Philip (Le) and Tanya; his grandchildren Chloe and Jonas; his two sisters Marguerite (Arthur Higgins) and Nora (Stanley Brothers); and many other relatives, nephews and nieces.
He is predeceased by his brothers Frank (Lois) and Johnny (Theresa) Chisholm.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at 5 Fatima Drive, Riverview, NB, E1B 2X8 on Monday, August 31st at 11:00 am, presided by Father Phil Mulligan. Family members will be available to greet guests from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the church lobby. The Mass will be followed by a reception in the lobby of the church and after the reception there will be a private burial ceremony for immediate family members only. The family kindly requests memorials be made to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
