Justin Matthew Raymakers
Born: September 15th, 1995
Passed in: Hammonds Plains
Passed on: August 25th, 2015
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our son, brother and grandson, Justin Matthew, born Sept. 15, 1995.
Justin passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at his home in Hammonds Plains.
Leaving to mourn are his parents, Adrian (Regina) Raymakers, Lynn Barrington Raymakers; sisters, Erin and Alexa and his grandparents, Elizabeth Raymakers, Diane Barrington and Wes Barrington. He will also be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended Hickey family.
Justin was predeceased by his Opa, John Raymakers.
Justin was a kind, sensitive soul with a huge heart. Although quiet at first, he would soon make you laugh with his quick wit and well timed humour. He was so smart and was our “go to, fix it guy” for anything electronic. He worked hard at his accomplishments and was proud of them. He loved his video games, his cards and his friends; they brightened his life and helped lift the fog..
Justin fought many unseen battles…
He described his depression as a “thick fog of hopelessness and no matter which direction you walk you would still be surrounded…...It never goes away, but eventually it can be like a small cloud on the horizon, something you only notice when you look for it…..”
A visitation for Justin will be held on Friday, Aug. 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Ignatius Church, 5 Bedford St., Bedford.
For those wishing, donations to the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia would be appreciated.
Online condolences may be sent to www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com Sackville Chapel.
Justin, you are so loved, by so many….
We are so proud of you for everything you are and for trying so hard..for so long…
We are heartbroken...
